Bridgerton x Netflix Event

Dearest gentle reader,

It has come to this author attention that Netflix hosted a Bridgerton event on Wednesday of the 14th February.

Here are the insiders of the event.

The panel of guests for the first round of questions, consisted of the author Julia Quinn, the show runner Jess Bronwell and the producer Shonda Rhimes.

As you know, season 2 ended on a cliffhanger. We got the true identity of Lady Whistledown to one of the characters (which will not be revealed to the gentle readers amongst the ton. If you wish to know the identity, I would suggest you go watch season 2).

We also got the names of the episodes of season 3.

  • Episode 1: Out of the Shadows

  • Episode 2: How Bright the Moon

  • Episode 3: Force of Nature

  • Episode 4: Old Friends

  • Episode 5: Tick Tock

  • Episode 6: Romancing Mister Bridgerton

  • Episode 7: Joining of Hands

  • Episode 8: Into the Light.

As you can see, the producers still kept the title of the book as one of the episode's title, which in this season is episode 6.

For reference, in season 1 the book title appeared on episode 5: The Duke and I. And in season 2 the book title appeared on episode 8: The Viscount Who Loved Me.

And then for the second round of questions: the panel of guests included or former three guests: Julia Quinn (author), Jess Bronwell (show runner) and Shonda Rhimes (producer). Accompanied by Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington), Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton), Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton), Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridgerton) and Martins Imhangbe (Will Mondrich).

The first question to them was how would they describe the season: of course our own Queen Charltte answered with mischievous, while there appears to be an evolution in all of our characters in comparison to the first season while still having some reminders.

For Nicola it was more of different backgrounds for each character and they are not immediately back to how it used to be.

For Eloise, this season she will try to inspire herself more and we will get the opportunity to see her do something like this.

For Benedict, we ended season 2 on giving up on art and painting, and seeing him taking more of the viscount's responsibilities. This season it is more about where he fits in.

For Will, this season his family is part of the ton, and we will see him struggling between all the events, the ton, the bar and his family.

As for our own gossip monger Lady Danbury. We saw during Queen Charlotte's season insight into why she is so close to the Bridgerton's and we understand now why she is an operator.

Lastly, our own Queen Charlotte, is bored. The previous two season's she had a diamond but it has become a pattern and something is missing.

Additionally, it has been revealed that there are plenty of easter eggs from the book, and at least one per episode.

Lastly, it is said that Netflix is throwing a real life Bridgerton wedding for a couple amongst the ton.

You'll get plenty of tips from our own Lady Danbury and Queen Charlotte on how to throw a regency ball.

Yours truly, Lady Manon
