Good evening lovely readers,
I hope you had an amazing evening and weekend.
Here is the first review of the Blog, which can also be found in my Goodreads account!

"Dahlia was the one who got me addicted to iced coffees with extra caramel, caramel drizzle, and a splash of cream, and I haven't found it in me to stop drinking them, though they always reminded me of her"

This was a really good book.
The writing was amazing, but the storyline was even better. I like it when you can relate to characters especially those characters who have actual issues both physically and especially the mental issues.
As we can read from the first chapters Dahlia is struggling with a lot of depression, anxiety, self worth due to her previous relationship, that was too toxic and controlling. Her former fiancee wanted and actually did for a period of time controlled her life to the point that she could not even choose how to dress, which show to produce or what she wanted in her show.
At first, she thought that all of it was because in love we should make compromises for each other. But she lost herself more than anything else. Therefore she decides to move back to her hometown, and surrounded by her family and her loved ones she starts to break through depression and reconnect with the person who turns out to be both the love of her live and her archenemy .
I liked the fact, that there wasn't a twist where one of the main characters basically f*cks up at like 90% of the book and he is trying to prove himself
It is my worst fear as the progression of the story was amazing. And I am truly glad the author did not. She just stick to the storyline, and made this story even more amazing in compariso to any other romance book.
Most people will be gasping as I've heard that we have some appearances from the Dreamland Billionaires aka the Kane brothers (Lauren Asher's previous romance series), and honestly I can't wait to start that series as well.
And lastly the Christmas theme made me smile while reading like a 10-year old. I've been dreaming about a white Christmas and Dahlia and Julian deserved it.
Cheers Manon
